Our Programs
Little Semillas is a 501(c)(3) bilingual, nature-based nonprofit offering enrichment programs for children in Central Florida. Our current programs focus on Spanish language immersion, cultural connection, and community learning through themed hands-on experiences.
Location
Programs are held at designated public parks in Maitland and surrounding Central Florida communities. Exact locations are shared with registered families for safety and privacy purposes.

Due to high demand, many of our programs are currently full.
Themed Spanish Immersion Classes (Paid Program)
Ages: 3-9
Format: Weekly session (6-8 weeks)
Our themed Spanish immersion classes provide children with a fun and engaging introduction to the Spanish language through weekly themed lessons. Each session explored a specific topic such as “all about me” or “farm to table” while building vocabulary, comprehension, and cultural awareness.
Classes include:
- Songs and movement
- Interactive games
- Storytelling
- Arts and crafts
- Group activities
- Hands on learning
These classes are designed for beginner and early intermediate leanerers.

Cotorritos Spanish Club (Community Program, Donation-Supported)
Ages: 4 and up!
Format: Bi-weekly club meetings
Our Spanish club Cotorritos is a community-centered program for children who already speak and understand Spanish or have graduated from our lessons. This program creates a welcoming space for children to practice conversations, build confidence, and connect with their culture through play and shared experience.
Activities may include:
- Cultural games
- Music and movement
- Storytelling
- Group projects
Cotorritos is currently offered as a community program supported by donations and sponsors. Families are encouraged to contribute through optional donations, helping us keep this program accessible!
Accessibility & Scholarships
Little Semillas is committed to making enrichment education accessible to all families in our community. Scholarships and sponsored spots are offered when funding is available through donors and community partners.
Looking Ahead
In the near future, Little Semillas plans to expand offerings to include additional seasonal enrichment programs such as art, baking, PE, and themed learning experiences in both English and Spanish.
